Need help finding the perfect frames?
Consider your Face Shape and Frame Style
Suggested Styles: Any Frame Shape
You are so lucky! You can wear almost any frame style and look amazing. It’s important to choose a frame that is proportionate to your face, but you should be able to find plenty of options in many shapes.
Suggested Styles: Rectangular Styles or Wide Frames with Angular Shapes
To make a round face look longer, frames with straight or angular lines, such as rectangular frames, will do the trick. Choose a frame that is equal or slightly wider than the broadest part of the face. Frames in darker colors or with higher temples will also add definition to the face.
Suggested Styles: Cat Eye Shapes, Rounded Shapes, and Classic Ovals
Square faces have prominent jaw lines, wide cheekbones, and a broad forehead. Frames with soft curves will complement a square face by reducing the angles of your face and giving you more definition.
Suggested Styles: Round and Square
Oblong faces are similar to square faces with jawbones and cheek bones of approximately the same width, but they are longer and narrower. Round and square frame styles that do not go beyond the widest part of the face will help give the appearance of a shorter, wider face.
Suggested Styles: Metal rimless frames, Cat eye shapes, and Frames with straight top lines
A triangle shaped face has a broader forehead and a narrow chin. To help balance out the bottom part of the face, select frames with a thin rim and vertical lines. Stay away from oversized frames or bold colors.
Suggested Styles: Rimless, Oval and Square frames
Diamond faces have pointed chins and high cheek bones. Round or square rimless frame styles look best on a diamond face and help to widen the eye area. Decorative temples will also compliment a diamond shaped face.
